JOB TITLE: Operations Manager

COMPANY: Private Healthcare

CONTRACT: FTC 12 month - opportunity to go permanent

HOURS: 9.00am - 5:00pm onsite everyday

SALARY: £45,000 - £60,000

START: ASAP must be available within 1months notice

LOCATION: Central London

Our client is a busy and dynamic leading private Medical Practice, with three locations in London: As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, focusing on clinic scheduling, resource optimisation, and enhancing the overall patient experience. Reporting directly to the COO, you will collaborate closely with her to streamline workflows and ensure operational efficiency. This role is extremley hands on and requires strong team collaboration across the clinic as they are growing.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the clinician team, understanding their needs while balancing them with business requirements.
  • Coordinate with clinicians to manage their availability and ensure proper staffing of clinics.
  • Optimise clinic resources, including room, equipment, and clinician utilisation, through strategic scheduling.
  • Oversee clinic diaries, ensuring accurate clinic lists and prompt handling of any scheduling conflicts or changes.
  • Evaluate resource requirements and make recommendations to align demand with supply.
  • Review and enhance workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and elevate the patient experience.
  • Collaborate with the management team to review pricing from core suppliers.
  • Source and engage external services, optimising costs while ensuring value for money.
  • Assist in resource planning to support the organisation's future goals.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to increase availability and facilitate efficient onboarding processes.
  • Recommend pricing strategies and review patient feedback to optimise revenue and services.
  • Utilise technology software for operational efficiency and generate reports on resource utilisation and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations management within a small clinical/healthcare setting desirable
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration.
  • Familiarity with technology used in clinic operations, such as Excel and patient management systems.
  • Positive attitude, excellent administrative skills, and a customer-centric approach.
  • High attention to detail and discretion regarding sensitive and confidential information.
  • Willingness to contribute to other areas of need within the organisation
