IPS Group is working with a Global Insurer in the city of Manchester within their midmarket/corporate team which offers future long-term progression and the opportunity to be involved in complex underwriting.
We are looking to speak to Underwriting Professionals who have experience in Property or Casualty either as a combined package or monoline. The sorts of cases you will have exposure to will be mid-market / corporate so we are looking for someone who is keen to enter this space or already handling these types of complex risks.
There will be an opportunity to be client-facing in which you will support in the delivery of the overall business targets.
Some Key Duties / Responsibilities Include:
- Support in the delivery of the Existing Business financial plan.
- Underwrite following Personal Underwriting Authority and Underwriting Guidelines to meet required profit targets.
- Deliver quality broker service to panel.
- Act as a referral point for lower-level underwriters and support in improving underwriting capability.
This is an opportunity that offers flexibility as you will only be required to be in the office 2/3 days a week as well as visiting brokers in the Manchester area when required. You will be offered a competitive salary, market-leading benefits as well as a bonus.
