Employment Opportunity - Administrative Assistant (Office-Based, NOT Hybrid or Remote)

About the Role and You

We're looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Admin Assistant to help our business serve more customers more efficiently. A pleasant and helpful nature is more important to us than formal qualifications. You need to enjoy talking to people and trying to make their day better by solving their problems or frustrations, so an engaging, positive, and cheerful disposition is a must.

The role is to support the Customer Service Team; a small but friendly, dedicated, and professional group of good people.

Key Requirements:

  • Flexible, 'can do', cooperative attitude.
  • Cheerful, positive, and helpful, and easily get on with others.
  • Prepared to 'muck in' to help out with all areas of the business.
  • Organised and proactive. You meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, great team worker, and can maintain confidentiality.
  • Good communicator, both verbally and in writing, and have great attention to detail.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with a sound grasp of standard grammar.
  • Excellent computer skills - minimum Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and web browsers.
  • Previous telephone work experience would be a bonus.

Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, with a half-hour (unpaid) lunch break.

Location: Manvers, Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Term: Permanent (subject to passing 6-month probationary period)

Start: Immediate (subject to satisfactory references)
