My client is one of the most reputable consultancy firms working with district heating networks across the UK, turning over up to 10 million annually. Based in London Bridge in a state-of-the-art office, they are future focused and growing, with an extensive project pipeline within the future-proof industry of district heating networks and building services.
In this role, you will be managing the project costs - offering wider project support by assisting with the cost planning, procurement, tender support and more. You will be working on an exciting pipeline of district heating network projects from both a technical and commercial perspective, an excellent opportunity to sharpen your commercial acumen.
The ideal candidate will be an Estimator/ Surveyor who has experience within the energy sector - looking for job security within the heat network industry. You will also be seeking a role within a large organisation who have an extensive pipeline of work, who are also committed to long term career development of their employees by giving you experience in multiple facets of project work - from technical estimating to commercial management, all while supporting your chartership.
The Role:
- Project cost planning and quotations.
- Project management support - with continuous monitoring of project costs throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring they are delivered within budget and time constraints.
- Developing client relationships - supporting in planning, procurement, tender support and payment applications.
The Candidate:
- Experience as an Estimator / Surveyor
- Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
- Experience within the energy market, preferably heat networks
- Looking to gain chartership accreditation.
