Ashley Kate are pleased to be working with an established and fast growing Manufacturing client in Tamworth on an additional HR Generalist role for their site in Tamworth. Reporting to the HR Manager you will be part of a well established HR function and be involved with helping to drive the HR strategy. You will be working closely with managers and employees across the business on all ER related matters and also the recruitment strategy for the business.

Based on site this role will ideally suit an experienced HR Officer/Advisor looking for a fresh challenge. Salary £30k - £35k dependant on experience.

HR Generalist - About the role.

You will be working with the HR Manager and review all HR policies, ensuring at all times monitoring updates UK employment legislation.

Provide guidance to managers on all employee relations issues, from D&G, performance management and absence. This will also involve where needed investigation meetings and referrals so you must be confident in dealing with ER.

A key part of the role will be around HR analytics and reporting and you will work closely with the HR & Payroll administrator, ensuring that payroll data and related records are accurate and up to date at all times.

You will need to build relationships across the business from the warehouse colleagues through to the SLT and so you will need to be a confident communicator.

Working alongside the already incumbent HR Generalist you will drive the recruitment strategy and so you must be comfortable with the end to end process, from writing job descriptions, conducting interviews right through to the onboarding piece.

Support the HR Assistant in terms of reviewing training requests and then ensure that TNA are identified and met.

HR Generalist - About you.

  • You must have a proven background in a HR officer / HR Advisor role.
  • Ideally you will have worked with a blue and white collar workforce such as manufacturing, FMCG, construction or retail.
  • You must have strong UK employment Law knowledge.
  • A strong and personable communicator and have the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • It is essential that you have hands on experience with HR systems and be comfortable with analytics and reporting.
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is key in this role.
