Description
Import & Export Coordinator, High Wycombe:
- Prepare and process import and export documentation
- Knowledge of Incoterms, Customs Procedures and Commodity Codes (all desirable)
- Liaise with shipping agents and freight forwarders to coordinate shipments
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
- Manage the tracking and monitoring of shipments
- Maintain accurate records of all import and export transactions
- Communicate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Handle customer and supplier queries related to shipping and logistics (Road, Air and Ocean)
- Assist with resolving issues related to delays, customs, or documentation
Profile
- Previous experience in import/export or logistics administration
- Strong understanding of international shipping procedures and regulations
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Problem-solving ability and proactive approach to tasks
Job Offer
Salary of circa £30,000 to £35,000 dependant upon experience, and good package.
