Collingwood Engineering is a busy precision Engineering Company, Based in Barton upon Humber North Lincolnshire.
JOB SUMMARY
Collingwood Engineering is in search of a talented, time-served machinist to join our team and oversee our CNC Department, which is in the early stages of growth.
This position would suit someone who is motivated, takes pride in their work, and has good communication skills both verbal and written.
REQUIREMENTS
Time served /NVQ Level 3 / Equivalent or higher.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a precision machining role
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Programming, setting& operating CNC lathes / CNC Machining Centre
- Reading & Interpreting Engineering drawing
- Working within tolerances
- Reverse Engineering components
- Using & interpreting measuring Equipment
- Maintaining Excellent housekeeping
- Occasional site visits with Clients
- Training of other members of staff on CNC machines
- Have a flexible approach to working hours as Overtime may be needed, or callouts may be required.
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a Team.
- Occasionally working on our conventional manual lathes and millers
- Be able to work to ISO9001 Standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines.
- Completing relevant paperwork (workshop job cards & QA documents
- Liaising with clients on technical matters.

Competitive rate of pay rate dependent on experience.
