Job Type: Permanent

Hours - Full time, Mon-Fri 1pm-9pm or 2pm-10pm and then 1 in 4 weekends 9-5.

Location - Home working - you will be expected to come into the office in York 2-3 times per month. The initial training will involve 2-4 weeks in the office.

Due to peak season fast approaching, we are looking for 3 Customer Service Representatives to work for an award winning company in York on a permanent contract working from home.

The purpose of the position is to deliver first rate customer service to all potential and existing customers, ensuring all elements of the service are delivered to a high quality and on time. Working within a diverse, fun and hardworking team your typical day will look a bit like this:

  • Issuing booking confirmations to the customer ensuring all details contained are correct & building relationships with customers.
  • Contacting customers and responding to email enquiries to ensure customers have all the information they require.
  • Supporting the administration of cancellations, discussing other available options with the customers in order to retain their custom where possible.
  • Liaising with external suppliers on behalf of customers as well as resolving overdue payments
  • Contacting customer to follow-up and resolve over-due payments of balances or deposits
  • Preparing & dispatching customer documentation

The perfect Customer Service Representative for this role will have a really pleasant and empathetic manner with good listening & communication skills.

You should be able to talk to customers and understand their needs, be patient, tolerant and have a genuine and kind manner.
