Job Title: Labour Suite and Triage Ward Administrator

Location: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust

Hours: 37.5 Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Trust Location: Queens Medical Centre Nottingham, NG7 2UH

What you'll be responsible for:

  1. You will provide a comprehensive and administrative service to senior members of the
  2. directorate team, to assist the smooth and effective performance of their duties and make a direct and positive contribution to the work of the team.
  3. You will exercise initiative to organise their workload.
  4. Attend meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes.
  5. Liaise with staff in other services and with external contacts.
  6. Sort and distribute incoming post and organise and send outgoing post.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
  2. Knowledge of the systems used, to complete your role effectively always to the highest standard.
  3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

You'll have the following skills/experience:

Skills:

  • Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Communications skills- both verbal and written.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload.
  • Previous administrative experience.

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
