This University is a dynamic and innovative institution in the higher education sector, is seeking a talented financial professional to join their team. As the university continues to grow and evolve, they are looking for someone to play a crucial role in managing their financial operations.
The Role
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable on a daily basis
- Develop and implement financial controls, processes, policies, and procedures across income and expenditure areas
- Lead the collection of all applicable income and timely disbursement of financial obligations
- Develop student-oriented financial solutions to increase attractiveness and ease of payment to the University
- Actively contribute to statutory accounts, internal and external audits, partnering with the Head of Financial Accounts
The Successful Candidate
- Educated to Degree Level with a professional financial qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical knowledge of internal and external audits, VAT control, and financial regulations
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking in a fast-paced environment
