As a Science Technician, you will play a crucial role in the Science Department, ensuring that all practical lessons are well-prepared and run smoothly. You will work closely with teachers to provide a safe and stimulating environment for students to explore and enjoy science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials for practical lessons.
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective science lessons.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laboratory.
- Manage the inventory of lab supplies and order new materials as required.
- Assist in the preparation and setting up of experiments and demonstrations.
- Provide technical support during lessons, including troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Help develop new experiments and practical activities to enhance the curriculum.
- Maintain a clean and organised laboratory environment.

- Proven experience as a Science Technician, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
