Your new role
As part of their ongoing commitment to the safety and wellbeing of staff and those who engage with the organisation, they are in the process of expanding our in-house Occupational Health Service. Supported by the ROH Benevolent Fund, their aim is to deliver best practice OH services and ensure it is a great place to work, where staff are enabled to achieve their full potential.To deliver this refreshed OH service, they are seeking an experienced professional who will support the Occupational Health Lead to provide comprehensive, proactive, and impartial Occupational Health advice to employees and managers. This will include undertaking regular health assessments, producing accurate and clear case notes and pragmatic guidance for complex cases as well as effectively supporting the specialists and third-party providers that are part of the OH provision.

What you'll need to succeed
Our ideal candidate will be able to quickly develop a reputation as a trusted advisor across the organisation, demonstrating responsiveness, empathy and professionalism in dealing with a range of cases across the company. They will be able to demonstrate:

  • An Occupational Health diploma/degree and experience as a registered General Nurse (NMC registered).
  • Competency in all aspects of sickness absence case management.
  • A proven track record of giving occupational health advice, guidance and support to managers and employees including complex cases.
  • Proficiency in producing concise and accurate case notes, letters and reports on OH issues, ensuring compliance with confidentiality, professional standards and data protection legislation.
  • An understanding of health and safety compliance relevant to the ROH and working within a performing arts context.
  • A clear ability to make decisions and plan in the short and medium term.
