Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Client Services Coordinator. The primary responsibility of the Client Services Coordinator role is to organise AHKES solid fuel laboratory related appointments. This client facing position must ensure that a professional level of service is maintained and succeeded at all times. The incumbent will be responsible for meeting client expectations whilst accurately reporting on results and operations in a timely manner.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients on all aspects of appointments to ensure that a professional level of
  • service is maintained.
  • Excellent client liaison skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong client
  • relationships.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with internal
  • teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all business is conducted and reported accurately in a timely and
  • professional manner.
  • Technical ability in regards to inspection, sampling and analysis in line with
  • internationally recognised standard.
  • Be flexible and willing to work alongside the business requirements/needs.
  • Be able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Train staff in the department when required. Ensuring advice and guidance is sought
  • from the Client Services Operations Manager.
  • Undertake other duties of an appropriate nature in consultation with the Client
  • Services Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company Health, Safety & Environmental procedures as
  • instructed.

Essential

  • Knowledge of analytical content and industry standard methods - ISO/ASTM.

  • IT, AHKES systems and Microsoft packages knowledge.
  • Positive attitude and creates an open positive working environment.

Required Competencies

  • Operational skills and good communication - These are key in order to solve

problems and assist in fluid situations.

  • Flexible and adaptable to the environment - A fast paced environment that often requires

flexibility.

  • Problem solver and level headed under pressure.

Required Work Experience

  • Experience in day to day fast paced operational environment and ability to understand the
  • shipping of solid fuels is advantageous.
  • Experience in a commercial technical environment and knowledge of
  • procedures/processes is preferred.
  • Experience of leading a team or in a supervisory role, including defining objectives,
  • communicating expectations and ensuring accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional certification and experience.

Travel / Rotation Requirements

  • Travel as required both domestically and internationally.
  • Must have a valid passport and ability to obtain visas as necessary.
  • Must be available to work overtime & weekends where necessary.
