The sustainability team is responsible for the implementation of the "Our Responsible Plan" leading on agendas of Environment, Accessibility, Accessibility, Community and Social Value.
This is a permanent role, salary circa £45k, employee 7% an employer 10.5% pension along with other good perks.
Office 3 days a week, this is not a remote job.
The role reports to the Environment and Energy Lead so professional and personal development on offer.
The main purpose for the role is to;

Deliver energy efficient and de-carbonisation focussed business practises, reporting processes & strategies

Ensure the company meets strategic goals/targets with respect towards de-carbonisation science based targets (SBT) and traction and non traction energy

To improve energy efficiency by evaluating energy use and putting in place new technologies, policies and changes when needed.

Develop and deliver de-carbonisation initiatives to reach Net Zero Goals
Seeking applications from candidates able to show;
- Strong data analysis skills, especially to map and track energy use and scope 3 emissions
- Strong understanding of science based targets, especially scope 3 and supplier engagement strategies
- Strong knowledge of energy reduction strategies.
- Bright and engaging, will need to be able to reach out to and manage stakeholders directly in order to perform role
