Role – Multi skilled engineer role
Location – Based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – 8am - 4.30pm
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Salary - £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Our client is a well disciplined and established organisation who are looking to expand in their engineering division.
This role should attract a multi skilled individual who is looking to develop their knowledge within the manufacturing sector.
Main duties will include –
Fabrication of Mild Steel
Some welding duties will be required
Using manual Lathes, Press Brake and Guillotines
Servicing pre-installed equipment
Reading from simple Engineering drawings
Helping to load and unload deliveries using the counterbalance fork lift
As required dealing with customers enquiries
Maintaining your working area keeping it tidy and organised at all times
Candidate attributes -
Relevant experience or qualification within Engineering
Competent at accurately calculating measurements
Some knowledge of using manual machines would be ideal
A strong team player
Practical, hands-on Engineering Skills
The ability to work autonomously with self-discipline
