Financial Controller

Location: Swansea, office based

Our client is a rapidly growing success story, dominating their market place in the UK and conquering new international markets and not yet ten years old. They're brand led and dynamic, profitable and entrepreneurial and are transitioning from a medium to large organisation. As such, they're building their internal teams in support of this and readying for ongoing growth, driving greater professionalism, stronger processes and more robust controls.

In line with this, they seek to appoint a Qualified Accountant, as Financial Controller - reporting to the Finance Director, this is a new role. The fast growth of the Business over the past few years has led to a need for increased compliance, governance and process, in the UK, Europe and the US. With two direct reports (at least initially), it requires a sleeves rolled up approach, from someone exited to carve out their own role and make their mark. This is very much a build and grow situation, being part of a crucial professionalisation stage and, for the right person, it will be a very exciting/rewarding challenge. This role could be perfect for someone looking for their first FC role or an experienced and proven Financial Controller, with a passion for change in a fast-paced environment, would be very valuable in building an "best practice" function.
