Mould Maintenance Technician

What You Will Do:
- Provide rapid technical assistance for equipment and plant malfunctions, including fault-finding repairs and refurbishments.
- Develop and refine operating procedures to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
- Train operators in safe equipment operation and promote skill enhancement.
- Implement and maintain planned maintenance of jigs, fixtures, plant, and equipment to optimise production efficiency.
- Assist in the integration of new plant and equipment into the production environment, setting and improving housekeeping standards using the 5S methodology.
- Continuously strive to eliminate and reduce waste within the manufacturing process.
What You Will Bring:
- Time served apprenticeship with relevant C & G Electrical qualification plus 18th edition, or a relevant engineering degree, HNC, or HND is desirable.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably with PLC programming and fault finding is desirable.
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrable track record of problem-solving.
- Experience with robotic programming and working on injection moulding machines is desirable.
