The successful Senior Electrical Technician in the development of its solid oxide technology through the planning, lay out, assembly and modification of test equipment by reading and interpreting engineering drawings and sketches.
- Using schematic, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation drawings to complete projects.
- Completing work orders and recording materials that are used on the job, for future job tasks.
- Drafting electrical installation plans and technical diagrams.
- Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems on all test stand platforms.
- Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Supervising ongoing electrical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed.
To be successful in this role of Senior Electrical Technician we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
- Experience of lab or industrial environments including safety procedures
- Experience and understanding of electrical installations and power distribution units
- Experience of completing mechanical and/or electrical works on equipment or systems in line with engineering documentation
- HNC level in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Mechanical and electrical fitting skills
