Supplier Due Diligence Analyst

Butler Rose is partnering with a leading large manufacturing client to offer an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Due Diligence Analyst to join their Business Solutions and Improvement team.

Salary: Circa £45,000 depending on experience
Location: Stevenage (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
Security Clearance: Must be a British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions relating to nationality and rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) as a minimum requirement.

Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our Procurement and Supply Chain function, within the Business Solutions and Improvement team. This role is essential in ensuring robust and effective controls, promoting clear communication, and managing functional activities related to Supplier On-boarding and Supplier Risk processes and tools. The successful candidate will need to be familiar with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that all actions are conducted ethically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Supplier On-boarding process and ensure compliance with Anti-Bribery policies.
  • Assess third-party ethics and financial outputs, attending relevant meetings.
  • Review and validate supplier documentation and certifications.
  • Promote a culture of integrity and compliance across the business.
  • Support process updates, system upgrades, and training rollouts.
  • Maintain accurate supplier data for senior stakeholders.
  • Participate in supplier management, governance, and due diligence checks.
  • Address queries on donations, sponsorships, gifts, and conflicts of interest.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes in business ethics.

What the client is looking for:

  • Ability to build strong and productive working relationships across the UK and Group teams
  • Ability to lead discussions and workshops in relation to Supplier Due diligence
  • Experience of working in a similar sector is desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of tools such as SAP, Ivalua, Third party online data solutions desirable
  • MS Excel/Power point/Word compulsory and ability to utilise online tools associated with internal procedures
  • Willingness to maintain knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and associated legal cases.
