If so, this growing Top 40 accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in the City is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Based in a niche team, you will work with a range of interesting clients from sectors including retail, technology, media, entertainment, property, renewable energy, financial services, gaming, construction and many more. Your role will be mainly reviewing but could include some hands on work for the more complex group consolidations assignments. Your role will be split between both statutory accounts and management accounts and also include reviewing Vat returns, corporation tax returns and other ad hoc duties and projects. You will manage your own portfolio of clients, at least £500k GRF. You will also have the chance to work closely with clients in setting up and implementing new software packages (such as Xero) and new systems, processes and controls in place and you will often act in an advisory capacity for clients. You will also be responsible for reviewing the work of junior staff and providing support and training / guidance to the juniors. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary.
To be considered for this new role due to growth (October 2024) it is likely you will be either ACCA or ACA qualified with at least 3 years PQE and working for a good quality practice firm of any size. You must have experience of both statutory accounts and management accounts preparations. You must have experience of FRS 102, and experience of consolidations and IFRS would be desirable but not essential. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including Quickbooks, Sage and Xero, would also be an advantage. You must now be looking to upgrade to a large Top 40 practice based in a City location in Central London where you can continue with your accountancy career, work on an interesting client base and receive top training, support and future progression to Senior Manager grade on offer.
