Robert Half are thrilled to be working with an educational organisation that are looking for a permanent, full-time Lecturer in Accountancy and Business to join the team in September 2024!
You would be required to empower students to achieve success in their educational programs through exceptional teaching and support.
Responsibilities
- Enabling Student Success - facilitate student success with high-quality teaching and support.
- Planning - design, implement, assess, and review high-quality learning experiences; create and use learning materials in both print and digital formats and stay updated with syllabus changes and employer needs.
- Delivery - use diverse teaching methods to cater to various groups; collaborate with technicians, LSAs, assessors, and lecturers for effective delivery.
- Assessment - plan and provide formal and informal assessment opportunities; coordinate on exam requirements; provide feedback to learners, parents, employers, and partner schools.
- Tutorial - guide students in creating and completing personalised learning plans; make referrals and facilitate enrichment opportunities.
- Professional Practice - continuouslyevaluate and improve teaching practices; participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD); support the college's strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate subject.
- Excellent teaching skills.
- Experience of teaching within a post 16 setting desirable.
