Group Financial Controller | c.£80,000 plus package | Fylde Coast | FD Designate Position | Ambitious Owner Managed SME
Axon Moore is privileged to have partnered with a new client, an ambitious business owner on the Fylde Coast who is looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller capable of succeeding their current FD to become their next leader in finance.
This is an exciting business and industry to be in; they're growing, financially very profitable and increasingly very competitive against other competitors in the industry. They're an excellent business and have an esteemed brand and reputation within their market. This Group FC position will work closely with an entrepreneur in their core business but will have oversight of their other investments whilst reporting to their current Finance Director.
This will be significant role for a candidate looking to round off their skills as they approach their first FD position. It will certainly be a demanding role working with different types of people and stakeholders across the business, but it will be a proving ground for any candidate looking to round off their leadership and communication skills. This will be an excellent role that will be transferable to any sector, business model or investment profile.
The role will be fully supported by an accomplished NED and their current Finance Director who is exceptional, and there is a very strong and stable finance team beneath this. The role requires the Group FC to be present in the office 5 days a week in the office but it will come with a very rewarding long term context that will be attractive to a variety of candidates.
