Do you have experience in purchase ledger or sales ledger? We have an opportunity for you to join a growing yet established business, covering their purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll administration as part of their finance team. As the finance assistant you'll be an integral part of our client's finance function, working closely with the finance manager to provide transactional finance support.
The role:
- Purchase Ledger & supplier queries, matching and seeking authorisation of payments.
- Sales ledger & customer invoice administration
- Checking purchase orders
- Reconciliations
- Checking payment runs
- Assisting with processing payroll
- Processing starters and leavers
- Statutory payroll reporting
- Assist in ad hoc tasks essential for the smooth operation of the finance department.
Requirements:
- Previous experience of SAGE Payroll & Purchase ledger
- 1 year's experience in a finance role.
- Confidence in using Excel.
