Electrical Field Service Engineer
SourceCo have partnered with a exciting and growing company who are seeking an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join their team. This business provides maintenance and support for industrial and commercial products, across the food and cosmetics industries. The client is expanding its electrical team due to new business contracts and organic growth.
Requirements:
- Suitable for individuals with experience as an Electrical Service Engineer or Electrician from any engineering industry.
- Prior experience with UPS or Inverter Drive systems.
- Basic understanding of automatic control system logic.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of UPS and Inverter Drive systems.
- Hands-on mechanical work, such as drilling and wiring.
- Working with single-phase and 3-phase systems.
- Reading and understanding electrical schematics (both manual and automatic control logic).
Training:
- Internal and external training provided.
Location and Travel:
- The company is based in Malvern but operates nationwide, which may occasionally require overnight stays.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Half-hour lunch)
- Friday: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM (Half-hour lunch)
- Additional hours as required, with on-call duties after reaching a certain competency level. On-call allowance and overtime will be provided.
