Summary of a Customer Service Administrator
The position will include interacting with customers, and to provide and process information in response to enquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. In all cases operating within the required SOPs.
Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Administrator
- Receiving customer orders for Specials and acknowledging receipt
- Processing orders onto the SAP ERP system
- Liaising with customers and keep them informed of the progress of their orders
- Resolving any customer complaints
- Updating the SAP CRM as required
- Answering numerous telephone/email queries
- Placing orders with Procurement
- Ringing customers back with ETA for their order when it is not going to be a next day service
Key Competencies of a Customer Service Administrator
- Customer service
- Experience of managing self in a proactive way
- GCSE or equivalent level
- Numerate (GCSE or equivalent level maths)
- IT literate, Microsoft office and SAP
- Logical approach
- Organised person who is able to prioritise their workload
- Strong communications skills, both written and oral with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team player, service orientated, supportive and innovative.
