Location: Telford

Hours: Part-time, Term-time only

Salary: £12.82-£14.52 per hour

Aspire People are working with a vibrant and friendly primary school located in the heart of Telford, dedicated to creating a safe and engaging environment for students. The school are looking are looking for a caring and reliable individual to join the school as a Lunchtime Supervisor.

The role will start as a temporary on-going basis with a mix of 5 - 10 hours per week available.

Role Overview:

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that pupils have a safe, enjoyable, and positive lunchtime experience. This includes supervising children in the dining hall, playground, and classroom (during indoor lunch breaks), promoting good behaviour, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising pupils in the dining hall and outdoor play areas.
  • Encouraging positive social interaction and play.
  • Ensuring the safety and welfare of children at all times.
  • Assisting with first aid, as required.
  • Managing any behavioural issues in line with the school's behaviour policy.
  • Reporting incidents to relevant school staff.

Requirements:

  • Friendly, approachable, and patient.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
  • Previous experience working with children is essential.
  • 6 months childcare experience in the UK essential.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
