Due to a sustained period of success, our Client is expanding and as a result of this they require a welder/ fabricator to join their team of experienced fabricators to help with secured projects, based in Barking, Essex.
Responsibilities:
- Using a variety of materials including mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
- Fabricating doors/frames in aluminium and steel systems.
- Working from drawings to produce bespoke architectural glazing systems.
- The work is varied and requires someone who can complete the whole process from drawing take-offs to cutting the materials, welding, and finishing.
Requirements:
- Experience working from technical drawings and have exceptional fabrication skills with the ability to complete the whole project from start to finish.
- Experience in Assembling framing / doors in bespoke architectural glazing systems.
- Able to use your own initiative and work well under pressure.
- Must be flexible and willing to assist with other duties.
- Coded Welding would be advantages but not essential.
Working Hours/ Benefits:
- 21 Days annual leave plus 8 days bank holidays.
- Free onsite parking.
- Working hours of 7:30am -4:30pm Monday to Friday.
- Opportunity of overtime available.
