Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year R Class Teacher to join our school. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum, tailored to meet the individual needs of the young learners. This is a full-time position, starting in September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and inspiring lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure continuous development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year R students.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young children.
