Description
- Focus on end- end procurement mainly on IT and professional services categories.
- Oversee and manage all procurement activities within the organisation
- Develop and implement robust procurement strategies
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and value
- Lead and manage a team, ensuring they are aligned with organisation goals
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
- Identify and manage potential risks within the supply chain
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities to senior management
Profile
A successful Interim Senior Procurement Lead should have:
- Previously worked at a Head of Procurement level ideally as an interim consultant. You would have a strong understanding of IT and professional service categories at a senior level
- Experience in a leadership role within procurement
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and strategies
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to analyse data and use it to make informed decisions
- Experience working in the not-for-profit sector
