My client are a large college based in Portsmouth who are currently seeking a Trainer & Assessor in Electrical Installation.
In this role you will be expected to carry out assessments and marking in line with college quality policies, and facilitate Apprenticeship programmes IQA up to level 4.
Job Role
- Engage in visits liaising with the quality team,
- Provide flexible assessment opportunities
- Closely plan, monitor, track and record student retention, achievement and success.
- Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment and engage in gateway meetings with employers
- To work with the apprenticeship liaison officer to inform progress reviews and where required engage with employers
- This role will be based at the North Harbour Campus, however travel to other campuses based in Portsmouth may be required on occasions
Essential Qualifications
- 18th Edition
- Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations
- Assessor A1 Award
Desirable Qualififcations
- Internal Quality Assurance Award
