The Role of a Science Teacher

The school is looking for an engaging Science Teacher to inspire curiosity in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5, if qualified). You'll develop and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with the national curriculum, fostering a love for science through hands-on learning and critical thinking. Collaboration with colleagues to continuously improve the science curriculum and personalize lessons to meet the needs of all students are key parts of this role.

Requirements for a Science Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
  • Experience teaching at secondary level, ideally at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 a plus)
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Science
