Hydraulic Engineer

Due to a growing order book and continued growth, our client is seeking an enthusiastic Hydraulic Engineer to join their close-knit and established team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a passion for engineering, and is eager to make an impact.

The role spans across workshop maintenance, mobile service and maintenance and installation of hydraulic systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strip and rebuild hydraulic cylinders and hoses in a safe manner
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic equipment both in the workshop and at various client locations
  • Perform quality checks and detailed inspections of hydraulic components
  • Install and maintain hydraulic hose systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards
  • Plan and manage your workload, always prioritising safety and compliance with industry regulations

What you'll bring:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent
  • Full driving licence is essential
  • Good understanding of engineering principles and hydraulic systems
  • Welding skills are a bonus
  • Ability to manage your time effectively and work independently
  • A strong work ethic, paired with a drive to succeed
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Salary of £33,000 - £36,000 (OTE £45,000 - £50,000 with overtime)
