This position requires a Temporary Finance Assistant with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in Accounting & Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial duties within a public sector environment in Bristol.

Description
- Assisting with key areas such as contract-out-services (COS).
- Downloading the transactions, and putting against the correct VAT Code.
- Supporting the management of financial documentation and records.
- Contributing to budget planning and management.
- Collaborating with the finance team to achieve departmental objectives
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Assisting in internal and external audits when required
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- Tax experience
- VAT knowledge (Contracted-Out-Services knowledge would be an advantage!)
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience working with CIS payments
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to think on your feet
