Company Overview

Tiro Partners is currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. This role involves the comprehensive management of bespoke capital equipment projects from inception to completion, ensuring high standards of safety, cost-efficiency, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Position Summary

The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of projects, including design, procurement, manufacture, installation, commissioning, and handover. Success is defined by meeting safety, cost, delivery, and timeline targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction to encourage future business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects according to the Project Management process.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise project teams across various departments, ensuring project targets (time and budget) are met.
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers during the installation phase to streamline the process and manage expectations.
  • Decision Making: Perform any other tasks as required, including stepping up to management-level decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: HNC/HND in General, Design, or Mechanical Engineering, or similar qualifications.
  • Experience: Proven experience in project management within a similar environment.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated experience in customer-focused work.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of the commercial aspects of project management.
  • Engineering Knowledge: An engineering background is desirable.
