We are currently partnering with an Accountancy Practice based in South Leicester, who are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join their team on a 4-month temporary basis.
This is a full-time position with a permanent salary equivalent of £40,000 and the start date is ASAP.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Working through a backlog and calculating corporate tax returns and VAT
- Preparing financial statements and statutory accounts
- Taking ownership of your portfolio of clients and working closely with Partners and Associates
- Providing advice and guidance to clients regarding their accounts
- Overseeing two member of staff- Semi Senior Accountant and Accounting Apprentice
Experience required:
- Practice background
- Experience with Xero or Sage is desirable
- Relevant qualificaiton is desirable
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
