Policy and Performance Manager

Posted by Transform Housing.

Location: Leatherhead
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £49,000 pa (pro rata for part time) + benefits
Hours: 39 hours per week

We have been transforming lives for people in Surrey for over 50 years. Over this time we have successfully grown our services and we aim to continue to strengthen our activity and grow to support more clients in the future.

As the Policy and Performance Manager, reporting to and supported by the Director of Client Services, you will play a key role in improving the effectiveness of our Client Services. As the largest provider of supported housing in Surrey, we are aware of our responsibility to develop and deliver excellent services that enable our clients to lead independent and fulfilling lives. As part of our Client Services' Leadership Team, you'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement and supporting staff to deliver contemporary and evidence-based services and ensuring that our values of excellence, empowerment, responsibility and respect shape our policy and practice.

The Policy and Performance Manager is an exciting role for someone with experience of supported housing (or related sectors) who is motivated by the desire to make a positive difference. It is a varied role which will involve opportunities to learn and work across Transform.

This will be a hybrid role but will be based at our Head Office at Bradmere House, Leatherhead with some flexibility to work from home. You will also be required to visit our services and work from other offices from time to time.

We're ideally looking for:

  • Someone with experience of working in supported housing (or a related sector) with up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practice for people experiencing homelessness or other forms of exclusion and disadvantage.
  • Someone who is comfortable with data and has experience of using it to evaluate services, support learning and inform decisions about practice improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – with experience of developing policies and supporting people to see them through into practice.
  • Good IT skills, especially using Microsoft packages.
  • Understanding of working within commissioned services and regulated sectors.
  • Someone who can work as part of a collaborative team and lead without directly managing people.

Tick most of the boxes but not all? The best candidate rarely does. So, if you are excited by the role and can do most of what we are looking for, go ahead and apply; you could be exactly who we need.
