Job Description:
Are you an experienced social worker with strong leadership skills and a passion for ensuring the highest standards of care? We are seeking a motivated and skilled Team Manager to lead the Review Team in Gateshead.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the Review Team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
- Conducting and overseeing comprehensive reviews of care plans to ensure they meet the needs and goals of service users.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate and improve care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of reviews, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, with significant experience in a leadership or management position.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with team members, service users, and external partners.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and safeguarding.
