Salary: £43,066.00 to £46,744.00 per annum
Full Time - 35 hours per week

Southway Housing Trust is a community-based housing organisation committed to providing high quality services to the people and neighbourhoods that we work in. Southway Housing Trust is a "not-for-profit" landlord, based in Didsbury, managing, and improving approximately 6,000 homes in South Manchester.

An opportunity exists within our Assets team for a Retrofit Surveyor/Coordinator to provide a wide range of services in relation to the development of programmes and delivery of improvements of our housing stock to fulfil our Zero Carbon commitment, including:

  • Preparing and supporting the delivery of maintenance and improvement projects.
  • Preparation of specifications and schedule of work.
  • Carrying out surveys of individual properties to assess their energy efficiency and identify appropriate solutions to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Identifying potential delivery partners and funding opportunities.
  • Monitoring work in progress to ensure that it is carried out safely and meets customer expectations.
