Description
Key Duties for the Group Management Accountant:
- Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes
- Produce insightful variance analysis and commentary for senior management
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
- Assist with statutory reporting and liaison with external auditors
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
Profile
Required Experience for the Group Management Accountant:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Experience in consolidation and group reporting within a multi-entity structure
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities and stakeholder management experience
- Commutable to St. Albans
