We are supporting one of the largest charity's in the UK who provide vital and essential services nationwide. Due to an ever growing demand for their services, the charity is going through changes to improve processes and which ultimately will help create better value and better levels of service.
As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for a small team, within the accounts payable and receivable function, which is part of the Charity's transactions service. Key responsibilities for the role include;
- Maintain an accurate and reconciled sales and purchase ledger.
- Be accountable for the delivery of high-volume transaction processing, ensuring that the charity's polices and processes are adhered across the organisation, and that financial risk is minimised.
- Run Debt Management meetings with stakeholders across the organisation, clearly articulating current debtor positions and actions being taken to resolve or mitigate risks and issues
Successful candidates will need to be available immediately or on a short notice period and be expected to hit the ground running. Experience of working in a similar role within a Charity or Not for Profit is essential and be able to commit to being on site 3 days a week.
