CNC Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator required for our client based in Dudley.

I am recruiting for a CNC Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator with Fanuc Controls experience.
My client specialises in the supply and manufacture of high-quality stainless steel and carbon components.
With a strong presence in the UK and Continental Europe, they pride themselves on delivering top-notch products to major stockists and distributors.
Candidate:
The successful candidate would be expected to have knowledge of working in an JIT Engineering Environment and have experience in Offline Programming machinery and control systems of mainly Fanuc (in addition, Siemens would be a distinct advantage).
The successful candidate will also be expected to be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a small production team, own transport would be an advantage but not essential.
Responsibilities: Programming and Setup:
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Siemens and Fanuc controls (Offline Programming).
- Set up CNC machines, ensuring correct tooling, fixtures, and material.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed.
- Optimize tool paths, reduce cycle times, and improve efficiency.
Operation:
- Operate CNC mills or lathes to produce precision components.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments during production runs.
- Maintain quality standards and meet tight tolerances.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret specifications.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, Setter, and Operator.
- Familiarity with both Siemens and Fanuc controls.
- Offline programming expertise.
Education:
- GCSEs or equivalent (additional technical certifications preferred).

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 p/a DOE
Opportunities for overtime.
Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
