Reed Warrington & Runcorn are exclusively recruiting for an industry leading client, located on Manor Park in Runcorn. I am excited to be recruiting a Supply Chain Administrator on a temporary to permanent basis.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in logistics / supply chain and be available immediately.
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
Working hours, Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5pm with 45 minutes for lunch
Potential hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home) after initial 3 months.
Job Purpose:
The Supply Chain Administrator provides an optimised logistics service to customers. Responsible for processing orders, and managing the process through to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction. Ensures delivery of goods at the right place and time.
Duties to include:
- Receive sales orders carefully considering transport mode and lead-times.
- Create, monitor, and manage open orders and ensure daily update to customers of order progress.
- Send order acknowledgements and confirmations to customers.
- Creation of import documentation
- Provide instructions to logistics providers and make sure of third-parties execution.
- Accrue any logistics costs relative to the orders (including transport, surcharges & demurrages, other logistics costs)
Specification
- Desirable to have supply chain / logistics administration experience.
- Effective communication skills, exceptional knowledge of English both written and verbal
- Experienced user of various IT tools & ERP systems
- Excellent organisational skills
