We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Experienced Laboratory technician in Bridgwater, TA6 4RN

Your pay rate as a full time Laboratory technician:
You will be paid £11.42 per hour
Typical working hours as a full time Laboratory technician:
You will be working on the Day shift from 06:00 until 18:00 4on4off shift pattern
Your role as a Laboratory technician:
- Oversee housekeeping, ensuring readiness for work
- Support with sample/benchmark shopping if required
- Stock consumables, follow cleaning schedules, and comply with audit standards
- Perform equipment calibrations, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintain paperwork
- Manage ingredient stocks, packaging, equipment, and request samples as needed
- Support the Lab team with sample preparation, production sample retrieval, and testing
- Handle daily dispatches, raw material receipt, and assist with sensory testing
- Manage production material assessments and act as a Health and Safety advocate
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a laboratory format
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a food/drink manufacturing environment
