We are working with a credible and high performing charity who are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Volunteer Co-ordinator to join their well established team.

This role will see you taking responsibility of co-ordinating volunteer recruitment, building a culture of support across the group whilst also taking responsibility for all of the on-boarding and ongoing administration of the Volunteers throughout their time with the charity.

Other duties will include:

  • Provide advice and guidance to service managers regarding suitability of potential volunteers with the relevant service managements.
  • Ensure that volunteers have sufficient training, resources, and support to carry out their roles effectively, including developing and delivering a variety of

reward and recognition activities

  • Facilitating learning sessions for volunteers
  • To promote the importance of volunteering internally through engagement activities, recognition schemes, and externally through recruitment drives, marketing and press campaigns, and other profile-raising activities.

This role will make excellent use of your communication and co-ordination skills and enable you to forge long lasting working relationships with those that you work with. You will need to be organised, able to manage multiple tasks and sometimes conflicting deadlines, foster confidence and a camaraderie with those you support and work with and provide accurate and effective administration support to the group.
