Full Time | 5 dpw | Salary based on experience

Are you a passionate, experienced Primary Teacher who is looking for a new opportunity in a Key Stage 2 role as a Year 5 Class Teacher? If the answer is yes, then we'd love to help you in your search for your perfect role!

We are currently working with a lovely Primary School in Willesden who are looking for a vivacious individual to join their team as soon as possible after the Easter break. This school is spread across 2-sites in Willesden, one being a one form-entry, the other being a two form-entry.

As a Year 5 Class Teacher, you will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver excellent lessons that align with the KS2 curriculum
  • Writing reports and assessments, marking the students work to monitor progression
  • Maintain consistent relationships with parents and guardians regarding their child's academic progress.
  • Effectively utilise Teaching Assistants and support staff in the class to enhance the delivery of your planned lessons
  • Pre-prepare resources to ensure the lesson can start uninterrupted.
  • Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the internal development of the school

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • Passion for teaching and have the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
  • Be creative and energetic, with strong behaviour management skills.
  • UK recognised teaching qualification with QTS
  • Enhance DBS Certificate registered with the update service
  • Right to work in the UK
