Talentedge are actively recruiting for a Accounts Payable Manager for a Marketing Services Group in Central London paying up to £50k+study support if required. This is a hybrid working role- 4 days in the office.
Duties include:
- Operating daily critical payment runs
- Manage the weekly business as usual payment runs
- Authorise bank payments and supplier set ups
- Verifying new bank details
- Checking margin/customer deposits
- Processing overhead related supplier invoices
- Oversee the weekly employee expenses process through Xero
- Ensure AP mailbox is always up to date
- Managing the daily monitoring and transfer of funds across credit cards and banks (all currencies)
- Manage the inputs into the cashflow forecast
- Liaising with payment providers and bank managers
- Daily uploads of bank and credit card transactions
- Chasing of missing receipts/information
- Daily allocation of cash in
- Processing of bank transfers and refunds
- Ensure daily reconciliations are completed across bank, credit card, ad hoc
- Oversee the creation and distribution of weekly expense reports for department cardholders and review submissions, taking account of missing receipts and other VAT invoices.
- Responsibility for one team member, providing mentoring and supervision
- Client payment allocation and matching
- Processing journals
- Providing support and information at annual audit
- Providing support to other Finance team members at month end
Candidates must:
- Have a minimum of three years expereince in a n International AP lead role
- Ideally have a background in fashion/retail or Marketing Services
- Have excellent communication skills and the desire to lead a small team
- Time management and attention to detail are key
- Self-disciplined and able to work under pressure and deadlines
- Strong numeracy skills
- Proficient in Excel is essential
- Google sheets preferred
- Experience of banking platforms essential
- Basic knowledge of VAT preferred
