37 hours per week (5 days per week over Monday - Friday)

bpha is a Housing Association providing homes to our customers across the Oxford to Cambridge arc. We aim to build communities where people can live happily in a safe home they can afford. What do we need?

As a recruitment focussed HR Assistant you will help form the cornerstone of our HR Ops Team. Your role will focus on working in collaboration with a Recruitment focussed HR Partner, and with the support of the wider team, provide administrative support from the pre-planning of recruitment campaigns, through to the new colleague arriving for their first day with us.

As this is a hybrid role, working remotely forms part of our week, though we continue to collaborate via Microsoft Teams throughout the day. As a team we have chosen to come into the office a couple of times each week to keep in touch with everyone and expand on our shared knowledge, team links and culture. Usually we have 2 days a week in Head Office.

Given the variety of , there will be opportunities to roll up your sleeves and get involved with a wider range of HR activities and initiatives, so we need someone who's comfortable broadening their skillset and experience within an HR setting, whilst helping to make our projects successful.

What do we want?

  • You're passionate, people orientated and have a willingness to make a difference and to help the HR Team to support the wider business.
  • You've worked a similar role, in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer focussed, and values led organisation.
  • You can take everything in your stride, and you are motivated by high expectations
  • You're a competent user of the Microsoft Office package and you have varied experience in using at least one ATS (we use Networx).
  • You are a confident and skilled communicator who is not afraid to talk positively to candidates and colleagues.
  • You enjoy recruitment tasks and you are system-savvy relishing the challenge of getting to grips with data and information.
  • You're highly efficient with amazing organisational skills, the confidence to prioritise and a keen eye for detail.
  • You need to genuinely care about people and want to help others.
  • If you don't have CIPD yet, then you be willing to work towards obtaining it, with our support of course!
