IT Service Desk Apprentice

Care Management Systems Ltd (CareDocs) is a leading provider of digital care management software and a family-run business. Founded by two brothers – both care home managers – they wanted to reduce time-consuming tasks involved in the care process to focus on caring for the residents in their own home. Interest quickly grew among local businesses through word of mouth and we supplied our software to the local community free of charge for several years.

In 2008 we launched commercially and now we're trusted by residential, nursing and domiciliary care providers of all sizes across the country and have thousands of users.

Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an IT systems and networking - Azure Cloud Support Specialist - Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Duties:

  • Play a key role under Customer Services and IT Managers' guidance
  • Support new/existing customer accounts proactively
  • Troubleshoot, provide support, and ensure service availability
  • Manage Helpdesk ticketing system for issue resolution
  • Communicate with employees during onboarding and offer ongoing support
  • Empathise and communicate complex terms in simple language
  • Deliver 'Grade A' customer and staff experience, maintaining service standards

What we are looking for:
Skills required:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
