My client, a leading Media company in the UK, is hiring for an Events Manager into one of their sub-agencies for a 4 month contract.
The role:
- £33K pro rata
- ASAP start
- Max 4 month contract
Role and responsibilities:
- Deliver high-standard events, managing suppliers, speakers, and staff, and negotiating with venues.
- Research and source venues and suppliers per policies and compliance, securing competitive prices.
- Provide client reports, maintain event timelines, and oversee abstracts and author communication.
- Coordinate AV testing, supervise event platform builds, and manage event design and signage.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, coordinate setup, catering, and accommodation, and create event collateral.
- Collect feedback and produce debriefs for improvements, supporting additional tasks as needed.
Non negotiable requirements:
- Must have experience in delivering medium-large scale events (up to 3000 delegates)
- Full conference and exhibition delivery experience
- Experience in B2B events - budget management, venue selection, agreeing contracts
- Experience in running virtual, live streamed events - comfortable with the technology involved in running this
- Be based in London with full UK working rights
