Title: Maintenance Mechanical Engineer
Pay rate: £15.38 per hour
Location: Leeds LS9 area
Contract: Ongoing temporary contract, Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on mechanical systems, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and replacing faulty components.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of machinery.
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritise maintenance activities and minimise downtime.
- Utilise technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints to effectively diagnose and repair mechanical systems.
